Trust and confidentiality
You’ll share your Microsoft agreement, your pricing and a picture of your SQL Server estate. Here’s how we handle it.
Independence
CrossTable has no affiliation, partner agreement or fee arrangement with Microsoft, AWS or Google. We may work with partners to deliver services, and we’ll always tell you who they are. We work only from public licensing terms and your own contract data.
What we ask for, and what we don’t
We ask for your agreement and amendments, your price sheets, your cloud commitment reports and a list of your SQL Server instances. We never need passwords, network diagrams, or access to your systems or business data.
Discovery
Your team runs discovery itself, with the tool you prefer: Azure Migrate or AWS Transform. Once the engagement starts, we also provide our read-only assessment script and the full list of what it reports. Your team reviews the script, runs it and sends us the output. You keep control of your systems and credentials.
Confidentiality
We sign a mutual NDA before you share anything. If a partner works on your engagement, we name them before they see your data, and they’re bound by the same confidentiality terms.
Where your data is kept
Your data is stored in CrossTable’s business Google Workspace account. Access is limited to CrossTable and any partner working on your engagement.
How long we keep it
We delete customer data within 90 days after your engagement ends, unless your contract says otherwise.
Canada
Google Workspace may store data in data centers outside Canada. If your policies require data to stay in Canada, or require an assessment before personal information leaves Quebec, tell us before the engagement starts and we’ll agree how to handle it. The material we review is mostly contracts, pricing and server configuration, not personal information.
What we cover
We cover Microsoft licensing compliance. We don’t certify security or regulatory compliance, such as HIPAA, SOC 2 or privacy law. Where a licensing decision touches those areas, we flag it for your specialists.
Security reviews
Your procurement or security team can send its questionnaire to info@crosstableadvisory.com.
